Melaleuca Convention Draws Thousands from Around the World
Thousands of Marketing Executives and Members from across the globe attended Melaleuca’s 29th Annual Convention in Salt Lake City last week.
More details about this event are featured in a news story published in East Idaho News.
Attendees spent three days at the Salt Palace Convention Center, where they immersed themselves in coaching workshops, product demonstrations and the company’s mission of enhancing lives. They were also introduced to the newest Melaleuca products, highlighted by the non-toxic, eco-friendly Clean & Gleam Floor Care System.
Hundreds of employees made the trip from Melaleuca’s global headquarters and other facilities in east Idaho. They spent the week helping Melaleuca Members navigate the convention and learn more about the company and its products.
Melaleuca’s top leaders, including CEO Frank VanderSloot, addressed the thousands in attendance during three main-stage general sessions. In what has become a unique and highly anticipated annual tradition, attendees who have paid off their homes and are completely debt free burned their mortgage papers in front of the crowd during the final session.
Celebration is a key component of all Melaleuca meetings, and one of the main purposes of Convention is to honor the achievements of Marketing Executives—Members who refer others to shop at Melaleuca.
In 2018, Melaleuca surpassed $2 billion in annual sales for the first time—a milestone VanderSloot says the company could not have reached without its Marketing Executives.
“They’re the ones who have created this. They’re the ones who made this happen,” VanderSloot said. “They’ve come here from all over the world as one big Melaleuca family to celebrate each other.”
To date, Melaleuca has paid more than $5.2 billion in commissions to Marketing Executives around the world.
