Forbes, TIME and U.S. News Recognize Melaleuca Among America’s Best for Consumer Value, Company Performance and Workplace Quality
Within a matter of weeks, Forbes, TIME and U.S. News & World Report each recognized Melaleuca, The Wellness Company, among America’s leading businesses.
Forbes ranked Melaleuca the No. 2 Best Brand for Value in America. TIME named the Idaho Falls-based company one of America’s Best Private Companies. U.S. News & World Report included Melaleuca among its 2026 Best Companies to Work For in three categories.
The three rankings evaluated different aspects of the business, including consumer satisfaction, employee experience and company performance.
Forbes: Melaleuca Ranks Second Nationwide for Value
Melaleuca finished second among approximately 5,500 brands evaluated for Forbes’ 2026 America’s Best Brands for Value rankings. Only Costco ranked higher.
Melaleuca also finished ahead of several of America’s most recognizable brands, including Toyota, Trader Joe’s, Apple and Sam’s Club.
Research firm HundredX developed the rankings using 4.7 million ratings from more than 160,000 consumers. Participants evaluated brands on quality, price, customer service, satisfaction and likelihood of recommending them.
“Most people think value means paying less,” said Melaleuca founder Frank VanderSloot. “We think it means receiving more.”
Forbes followed the rankings with a feature article exploring Melaleuca’s emphasis on product quality and affordability.

TIME: One of America’s Best Private Companies
TIME and research firm Statista selected Melaleuca for their 2026 America’s Best Private Companies list.
The research began with a field of more than 34 million private companies and evaluated eligible businesses on employee satisfaction and societal impact. It incorporated survey responses from more than 217,000 U.S. workers.
Melaleuca joined Patagonia, Publix, REI, Chobani and Chick-fil-A on the list.
The recognition comes as Melaleuca continues to invest in employee benefits and programs that reward long-term service.
U.S. News: Melaleuca Earns Three Workplace Honors
U.S. News & World Report recognized Melaleuca in three categories of its 2026 Best Companies to Work For rankings: Overall, West, and Health Care and Research.
The publication evaluated employers in six areas: pay and benefits, work-life balance, job stability, comfort, belonging and career development.
Melaleuca received perfect 5-out-of-5 scores for belonging and job stability.
“Melaleuca’s mission is one of the greatest strengths,” said Melaleuca President Cole Clinger. “People are drawn here because they want to do meaningful work that enhances lives.”
Melaleuca offers full-time employees health care, retirement benefits, child care support and wellness programs.
The company also provides longevity bonuses to recognize employees who reach significant service milestones.
In 2024 and 2025, Melaleuca paid more than $5.2 million in longevity bonuses to 426 employees. Since the program began in 2007, those awards have totaled nearly $45 million.

Melaleuca Builds on Its Record of National Recognition
The latest honors add to Melaleuca’s growing list of national recognitions.
Earlier in 2026, Forbes named Melaleuca one of America’s Best Midsize Employers for the fourth time since 2020.
In 2025, USA TODAY recognized Melaleuca among America’s Most Trusted Brands and America’s Best Stores.
“We are not trying to make the cheapest product on the shelf,” VanderSloot said. “We are trying to make a better product.”
That philosophy has guided Melaleuca since its founding in Idaho Falls in 1985.
The company’s mission is to enhance the lives of those it touches by helping people reach their goals. Its latest national honors recognize important aspects of that work, including the value customers receive and the experience of employees who help deliver it.
